Have you ever wondered what hormone is responsible for your mood and feelings? Serotonin is the key hormone that stabilizes our mood, feelings of well-being, and happiness. We will officially open our clinic by appointment only on June 1, 2020, we are strictly following Covid-19 safety recommendations.  Upon arrival all guests must apply hand sanitizer and required to wear mask over their nose and face to and from the clinic rooms through the salon.  Our rooms, equipment, tools and linens are sanitized between each new guest.

Your safety is our number one priority and your cooperation in supporting our efforts to minimize the spread of the virus is appreciated. We have implemented the following protocols as recommended by BC’s Provincial Health Officer and WorkSafeBC:

  • Entrance to the Salon is strictly prohibited by anyone experiencing symptoms of illness including fever, chills, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, new muscle aches or headache, sore throat. Access is also prohibited by anyone who has travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days and to anyone who has been in contact with a person who’s tested positive for or is suspected of having COVID-19. Cancellation fees are waived under these circumstances.

  • Guests are required to complete a COVID-19 assessment form on-line upon arrival and services may be declined based on answers provided, at our discretion.

  • Mandatory face masks are worn by team members, always, throughout the facility.

  • Mandatory face masks are worn by guests when receiving treatments (as physical distancing is not possible while receiving treatments) and whenever physical distancing is not possible. A new disposable mask is provided complimentary to all guests.

  • Guests are escorted directly into treatment room, foregoing access to all other areas of the salon.

  • Additional cleaning time is allocated between guest appointments.

  • Entry points are controlled and scheduled for team members, guests, and deliveries with mandatory hand disinfection. Guest arrival times are staggered to control occupancy levels in our reception area. Early arrivals are not accommodated and guest must wait outside in their vehicle until appointment time. If we are running behind a text will be sent to inform the guest.

  • Signage is displayed throughout the facility to assist with safety reminders.

  • Website is updated to ensure information pertaining to COVID-19 is easily accessible for guests and team members to reference.

  • All team members have attended a mandatory COVID-19 orientation/training session prior to returning to the workplace.

  • Online retail and gift card sales are in place to minimize shoppers in the spa reception area.

  • Unnecessary physical contact (i.e. hand shaking, hugs) is avoided.

  • Tools are never shared, and disposable items are always single-guest use. Reusable stainless-steel tools are always sterilized.

  • Team Member uniforms are required to be laundered for the start of every shift.
